The benefits of Herbal Teas
There has been an extensive amount of research proving that introducing Herbal teas to your daily diet will benefit you in many ways. For many decades all around the world, Herbal Tea has been used to help alleviate pains, help with insomnia, encourage healthy skin and nails, aid with hair growth, lower cholesterol & blood sugar and more! Below, I’ve complied a list of some herbs and how they may benefit you.

Anise seeds (Pimpinella anisum)
Native to: Egypt.
Use seeds to brew tea.
Strong licorice taste and smell.

Calendula (Calendula officinalis)
Native to: Mediterranean region
Breaks fevers.

Can be used externally for sunburn and eczema. Often, this herb is most often used externally to treat slow healing wounds and to promote tissue repair.
CAUTION: Do not take Calendula internally if pregnant or nursing.
Chamomile (Matricaria recutita)
Native to: Africa, Asia and Europe.
Used to treat fever and chills.
Treats indigestion.
Treats bloating.
Treats heartburn.
Helps rid anxiety by calming nerves.

High source of Anti-Oxidants.
FACT: Those suffering from peptic ulcers may find relief from drinking chamomile tea.

Cinnamon (Cinnamonum verum)
Native to: India. Cultivated in Indonesia, Africa and South America.
Contains important minerals such as Magnesium and Potassium. Cinnamon has strong anti-diabetic effects, making it a great food for diabetics.

Dandelion (Taraxacum officinale)

Native to: Europe and Asia, but Dandelion grow all over the world
This wonderful flower has been used for a very long time, such as in ancient China for it’s medicinal properties.

Ginkgo Biloba (Ginkgo biloba)
Part that may used: Leaves and seeds
Native to: China, but also cultivated in Japan, France and the southern United States
Ginkgo Biloba improves the flow of blood to the brain by increasing oxygen to the brain cells. It is very useful as a cognitive enhancer and may help boost your memory.
Anti-coagulating properties (prevents the formation of blood clots, possibly reducing risks of strokes.)

It has terpenoids and flavonoids which protect the body from free radical damage and cell oxidation (premature aging).
